The first big event of U.S. Open week has passed. Tiger Woods shook Sergio Garcia's hand on the Merion driving range Monday, appearing to accept the Spaniard’s face-to-face apology for his racially insensitive “fried chicken” remark of last month.
It was reported that the two adversaries also planned to meet for a longer
discussion Monday night to cool down the boiling point of their already contentious
rivalry.
