In
accordance with the vision to hold periodic interactive forums created to
discuss and proffer solutions to the critical challenges women face in
leadership positions as well as the workplace, the 2013 CEO/Policy Interactive
Series will be hosting business leaders to address some of this challenges.
This forum is targeted at Chief Executive Officers from various industries and
members of Executive Management to discuss and proffer solutions to the
critical challenges that women face in the workplace.
This
year we will discuss the oil and gas industry which is the most productive
industry in Nigeria, with an estimated value in excess of $340billion and is
responsible for 70% of GDP, 95% of foreign exchange and 80% of budgetary
revenues in Nigeria. It is however interesting to note that this industry is
male dominated with a few women participants.
